Eileen Nelson Photography | Portrait / Family Investment

Each client is required to sign a contract and pay a retainer fee to hold the session date and time. I try to be "green" and send out all the necessary info via email. Your contract can be signed electronically and then printed out for your records. If you would prefer to print the contract out and sign it and then send it back to me then that is fine too. Please just give me a "heads up" that you will be doing it that way. I am a bit old fashioned and also like to talk on the phone and answer any questions you may have. Once we have the date and time scheduled, you may not hear from me until a few days prior to the session. I like to check the weather and to confirm with my clients and reschedule if there is rain. Don't worry if it isn't sunny for your session, cloudy is fine and often produces less shadows.

Each session is an hour in length and includes immediate families of 6 or less people. The sessions also include one hi resolution digital image from your session. A print release will also be provided with the image. Prints and speciality items are in addition. The sessions may occur at your home or a mutual location. (There is an additional fee of $40.00 for travel outside of 40 miles from 02054). During the hour session I will take unlimited amount of pictures whether posed or candids. The clock starts from the time our session is scheduled and will continue for the hour. In the event that I am late, then I will continue to shoot for the hour. In the event that your family members or children are late or disruptive and need to be spoken too, then that will be considered part of your session. My time is just as important as yours and often I have multiple sessions during the day and it would not be fair to be late to others. I will also attempt to post a "sneak peak" image from the session on Facebook and Instagram. My 2017 portrait pricing starts at $200.00.

Your session images will be in your on line gallery ready for viewing with in 3 weeks from your session date. Sometimes, depending on the time of year they may be ready sooner. I edit pictures in the order that I shoot them, so I often have multiple sessions to edit. Expect to receive an email from me when the images are ready. I  will have all of the information you need in that email. Please try and plan your time accordingly if you have a deadline to reach, especially senior portraits. In other words, plan ahead and don't wait until the last minute.
